In Memoriam

Childhood is over the day you realize that you will have to edure people dying. I've been around long enough to mourn a few already. This is for them. This is in hopes they will remain unforgotten.

Rich
Rich was a quiet man with a good sense of humor. He was full of grief too, so much that he took his own life. His LiveJournal still exists. People post there from time to time.
Donna
Donna was a dynamo of a woman who I had an incredible crush on, even though I'd only talked to her online. But those I loved were around her a lot and loved her. So I knew she was special. She died of a brain aneurysm. She left a webpage (in French)
CJ
No picture yet. CJ worked with me. He was a Senior while I was a lowly tech. He was a sort of mentor for me. He encouraged me. He listened to me and was genuinely interested in who I was. He died of a brain tumor.
Liam
I hesitate to add this one, since I never knew Liam. But he was a Callahanian and he died like a hero. He worked in the World Trade Center. He made it out before the building collapsed. And he went back in to hep others and never returned. Like I said, I didn't know him. I have no claim to grief for him. But I like to think that he made Mike Callahan proud. A poem about him is here.
